Celine Dion's 'A New Day...' Has A Huge Opening Year![]() Celine Dion's Las Vegas show A New Day... has proven to be a huge success in the first nine months of its three-year run. The show, created by Franco Dragone and presented at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, was attended by more than 600,000 fans in 2003. In addition, some of the hottest television, movie and music celebrities were spotted in the audience of A New Day... this year, including Oprah Winfrey, Justin Timberlake, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Britney Spears. The live broadcast of the show's opening night received an Emmy nod for Mia Michaels' choreography of Celine in Las Vegas: Opening Night Live on CBS. Dion also received a 2003 AMA award this year for Favorite Female Artist in the adult contemporary category for her album, One Heart.
