Boy did he love band: Played alto saxophone in the Concert Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band and Wind Symphony.

First car: '88 Toyota Tercel Coupe. It was charcoal grey with rims, tricked out with low profile tires and a pounding stereo system...your basic young boy's car.

Married Life: Wade married his high school sweetheart Michelle in 2001. The Makaha Sons, Junior Maile, Maunalua, Pai`ea played at their wedding.

Start at Hawaiian 105 KINE: I started here in 1992 as a board operator for Uncle Sam Kapu's show when it was the Menehune Morning Show. Moved on to jock, then in 1999 became the KINE program director.

TV show he identifies with: "King of Queens." The character Doug reminds me of myself...the mannerisms, the way he loves to veg out on the couch, that's me!

Favorite place to kick back: Home is my getaway. I love to sit on the couch and just veg out watching TV. It's my escape from life's chores. I don't even know what I'm watching sometimes; I just have the remote control in my hand and zone.
