Hawaiian music has been shared by my husband and me for years. My husband was born Haole, but since he lived here since he was a child, he was more local-style.
Hawaiian105 KINE was the station stuck in our cars. There were so many songs that touched the both of us.
He was tragically taken from me in an auto accident, but the memories live on through the music that you play. His favorite were songs by the Makaha Sons; so that's what we played during his memorial.
