I will never forget this moment. In 2001 I was planning my first trip to Hawaii and of course was very excited.

I found Hilo Hattie online and ordered a few things, one being the Chamber of Commerce CD. I was working at my desk listening to this CD when Hapa sang Lei Pikake... I get chills remembering this moment. I sat back in my chair just lost in this love song, to this day it is still my favorite as is Hapa my favorite group.

I'm a true Hawaiian music lover, Amy Hanaiali`i, Na Leo, Pali, the list goes on.

I've been twice, I'm learning the language and will return in the fall of 2008. I soak up the spirit when I visit the Islands and long for it when I'm gone. I'm sure it will become home one day.
