Several years ago, my husband and I met Jerry Santos at the Paradise Lounge at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

My husband and I were moved by his beautiful vocals and guitar. My husband said that Hawaiian soul seemed to come from Jerry's songs. We wanted to know his songs more, so we got his all CDs. After we returned to Japan, we began to learn English in order to understand Jerry's songs. And we studied Hawaiian history also.

We visit Hawai'i three times a year at least to see Jerry. He makes us happy with his music. He is not only a great musician but also a true Hawaiian, we think.

Now we can hear FM live from Hawai'i in Japan. So we feel much closer to Hawai'i.
