I was born in Maui, moved to Oahu when I was eleven, and now I live in Colorado.

I am working hard to complete my business degree from Metro State.

Whenever I listen to Hawaiian music my heart aches for home.

Every time I listen to Hawaiian music I feel like my ohana is right next to me, and that when I look outside my window I will see the beauty of our island home in all of its many glories.

Whenever I listen to Hawaiian music I remember the warmth of the people and their innate drive to make Hawaii a better place to live. Being able to listen to

Hawaiian music helps me feel so blessed that I am Hawaiian and increases my determination to finish my degree and come home again.

When I move back I will know how fortunate I am to live in these islands, because, simply put, Hawaii No Ka Oi. Until then, all I have is my family and the music of Hawaii to keep me going.

Much Aloha from the Centennial State
