Mahalo Braddahs! - Life in These Islands - Joy and tears in my heartBorn and raised in Kalihi but now raising a beautiful family on the mainland, this powerful and emotional song and video brings joyful tears in my Hawaiian heart to realize the true value of the aloha spirit, ohana, and the mana that I left behind after graduating from UH. I always hold Hawaii dear in my heart especially the memories growing up during the 70s and 80s - the simple, safe, less violent and care-free times. Whenever I return for a visit, I realise that things, people and times have progressively changed. I know someday I will return to stay. Until then, keep up the beautiful Hawaiian harmonies, so we can close our eyes and refresh our souls.
