The Prince Lot Hula Festival is Hawaii’s largest non-competitive hula event. Held in Honolulu, the event honors the legacy of Prince Lot Kapuāiwa, who brought the once outlawed hula dance back to the Moanalua district. Since its inception, the event has grown to showcase out-of-state dancers in addition to local talent and features both traditional and contemporary hula performances. Authentic local food and drinks are available for purchase, and the event is held at the beautiful Moanalua Gardens, a cultural and historic gem on the island of Oʻahu.
