Blessed with the soul and definition of everything that New Orleans & Louisiana’s music stands for, Davell Crawford breathes and lives the soulfulness of American Roots music. Some friends and admirers of his artistry included Lavern Bakker, Prince, Aretha Franklin, Koko Taylor, Abbey Lincoln, Milt Jackson and Etta James to name a few.

Charmaine Neville
As the daughter of one of the highly acclaimed Neville Brothers, Charmaine Neville is heir to a rich New Orleans musical legacy but is busy putting her own stamp on this musical heritage. Neville and her band dish out a spicy mix of the best of New Orleans music, from the nastiest of blues to some V-8-driven R&B. Add a funky rhythm and some jazzy ballads, and you’ve got yourself one helluva Crescent City gumbo!

Reviewers have called their shows electrifying, aerobic, explosive. Charmaine and the band mix the hypnotic with the dramatic. Charmaine herself has been described as a crowd magnet, a frisky dynamo, versatile, vivacious, technically impressive. The Blue Note will be featuring two shows, one beginning at 6:30pm, followed by a night performance at 9:00pm. Doors open at 5:00pm and 8:30pm respectively.
